Carter's First BIG Snow!!

Carter had a great time with his first big snow. Here are some pictures of him in the snow.

Another Boy!!

Well it has been 2 weeks since we found out that we are having another little boy. I have been very busy trying to figure out what to do with his room and decide what to name him. We have decided that he will be named Aiden Grant and his nursery will be decorated in green with turtles.

The ultra sound went great and he has a heart beat of 156 and was about 8 inches long. He was stubborn like his mom and wanted nothing to do with posing for pictures so we didn't get great ones. He wanted to stay curled up and sleeping but did spread his leg enough to figure out he was all boy.

We are very excited and can't wait to meet the little guy. Here are some pictures of Aiden Grant Patton

Forever

Ok so I know that it has been forever since I sat down and wrote, but in my defense I have had my hands full with a sick little boy and then I have been sick myself.

So forgive me if this is a long one! Christmas was great and Carter had a great time since he actually realized that the presents were for him to open and it was not just about the shinny colorful paper. He was a very happy little boy on Christmas morning. He got to open 1 present Christmas eve (family tradition PJ's) and then put those on for bed and wait till the next morning. Granny and Grandaddy Patton came over for Christmas morning to see what Santa left and then we went to Grandma Vertuno's and opened more present and had Christmas dinner with his Aunt Ashley and Uncle Jon and Uncle Ross.

Now to fill everyone in on 2009!!

It started out nice and quiet much like I like things. Then sickness came in waves 2 weeks ago Carter had bronchitis and when that was over he came down with a GI bug that he was nice enough to share with mommy. (lucky Daddy never got it). Then when we went to see the Doctor for the GI bug they found he had another ear infection with that. I am just wondering when will the sickness end.

We did go for his 15month check up and am happy to report that we are in the 75% in everything and had 3 shot (Carter was not very happy with them). We are talking alot even though I don't understand half of it. Our favorite words are "that" and "uh oh". We love the potty even though we have not actually used it yet. So maybe early potty training (everyone keep your fingers crossed).

I am now entering my 15week with Baby Patton#2 and am starting to feel better than I was. I can remember that when I was pregnant with Carter I never felt bad but this baby is a whole nother ball game. At 12 weeks I went for an Ultrasound for the NT Test and I am happy to say that everything is good with the Baby and I go back to see the Doctor this coming week. I can't wait to find out what this little one is and that will be in February. I will keep everyone posted.

The Great News

Well by now most everyone knows that Clark and I have exciting news. We are now at our 7th week of expecting our second child. Both Clark and I are thrilled about this news. We know that Carter doesn't understand but with time he will begin to see changes in mommy's belly. I have my first appointment with Dr. Stout December 2nd and can't wait. So far I am feeling pretty good. We both have our ideas and wishes on what this one will be, but will be thrilled either way as long as he or she is health. I look forward to sharing all our fun time as things progress with the pregnancy and with Carter as he gets bigger and smarter everyday.

First Blog Ever!!

HELLO!!!!

This is my first ever blog and I have no idea where to start so here I go. I will give everyone a brief update of the last years events to get everyone up to date.

July 7, 2007 - Clark and I got married on a hot day in July and I was 7 months pregnant and big a house. The ceremony was nice and just the way I had in mind with my brides maids in red and the groomsmen in beige shirts and black pants. I was walked down the aisle by my brothers. We had a wonderful cake made by Donna Provo and food made by Family and friends. The day was wonderful and one I will never forget.

September 24, 2007- Clark and I welcome the most wonderful little boy Carter West in to our family. He was born at 5:41pm and weighed in at 8lbs and 21 1/2in long. Perfect in every way. He has blessed us from the beginning and continues to be the apple of my eye.

December 2007 we enjoyed our first Christmas with our little man Carter.

We have had many exciting event happen over the last year. Carter first word "DaDa" which a little heart breaking and wonderful at the same time for Momma but DaDa was thrilled. We got our first tooth (now we are working on our 4th one). We pulled up for the first time which was immediately followed with falling down for the first time. Now we are walking all the time and I'm sure it will be not time before we are running.

July 7, 2008- Clark and I celebrated our 1st anniversary and ate our wedding cake topper which was better than I remembered it being on our wedding day.

September 24, 2008- We celebrated our Carter's 1st birthday with family and friends and he had a blast with his cake. Lord help me he is a country boy. He loves tractors and country music and being outside with his Daddy playing in the dirt.

Well that bring everyone up to date on our little family. We have had our trial and tribulations but we have worked on them and become a stronger and more loving and respectful family for that. The love we feel for each other and our child is the strongest it has been and is wonderful. So till next time, enjoy life for what you have not what you want!!
